The 3 primary Lefranc & Bourgeois Linel Gouache colours are perfectly balanced chromatically. Thanks to their saturation, they give very pure tones and low grey levels. By adding black and white, you create lighter or darker tones from any colour you create. In the set of 10 there is a warm and a cold tone of each basic colour, allowing even more colour nuances.

Lefranc & Bourgeois Linel Gouache has a thick, smooth consistency and dries to a velvety finish. It is ideal for use on different surfaces such as paper, cardboard and wood. The extraordinary opacity enables light colours to be overpainted with almost unlimited dark tones. You can also dilute the gouache with water, for example to produce semi-transparent glazes.
