This Schmincke Highly Absorbent Primer 1 is a pure white, lightfast and age-resistant primer for oil and acrylic paint with a strongly absorbent character.
The elastic film dries matt and is resistant to turpentine oil and water. The Schmincke Highly Absorbent Primer 1 is characterised by the following properties:
- can be diluted with water (10 to max. 30%)
- extremely absorbent supports such as raw linen require pre-priming
- do not use below 8° C object temperature
- contains pure acrylic dispersion
Schmincke Highly Absorbent Primer 1 can be reduced in absorbency in a controlled manner with a pre-primer (impregnation) and coloured with acrylic paints. It is available in a 500ml bottle or a 1 litre pot.
