Sennelier Isolating Picture Varnish forms an insulating film between two layers of oil paint. This varnish is very popular among art restorers as it allows them to return to the previous layer in case of error.

This Sennelier Isolating Picture Varnish should be used very carefully – apply only on layers of paint that are completely dry (minimum 6 months). It can be covered with more layers and another finishing lacquer without the risk of damaging the previous paint layers. Sennelier Isolating Picture Varnish forms a glossy colourless film.
