This set is also great for experimenting with colour theory.

WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan Oil Colours are water soluble, made entirely from modified flax and rapeseed oil. They are odourless and offer high colour brilliance and pigment strength with excellent covering power. They have a buttery consistency and a high proportion are made with single pigments.

The product specifications of WINSOR & NEWTON™’s water mixable Artisan™ oil colour:

• based on modified linseed oil or safflower oil
• water mixable
• buttery consistency
